Construction Administrative Assistant

Moceri Companies is seeking an organized, proactive, and dependable Construction Administrative Assistant to support our team in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

This is a versatile administrative position that goes beyond traditional office support. You'll assist with day-to-day office operations while also supporting construction sales and construction management activities, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be closely involved with the business.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and capable of communicating professionally with customers, construction personnel, and internal team members. Previous experience working in a construction, real estate development, homebuilding, or related project-driven environment would be especially valuable.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Support general day-to-day administrative and office operations
  • Manage correspondence, documentation, filing, data entry, and recordkeeping
  • Assist with scheduling, meetings, calendars, and internal coordination
  • Prepare and organize reports, documents, spreadsheets, and other business materials
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical project files
  • Respond professionally to phone calls, emails, customers, vendors, and internal requests
  • Help keep information organized and accessible across multiple departments
  • Assist leadership and team members with administrative needs and special projects
  • Prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Provide administrative support for construction-related sales activities
  • Assist with customer inquiries and communication throughout the sales process
  • Organize sales documentation, customer information, and project-related records
  • Help coordinate appointments, meetings, and follow-up activities
  • Maintain accurate records of customer and sales activity
  • Assist the sales team with proposals, documentation, and other administrative needs
  • Coordinate information between customers, sales personnel, and construction teams
  • Help ensure customer questions and requests are routed to the appropriate team member and followed through to completion
  • Provide administrative support to construction management and project teams
  • Assist with organizing project documentation, schedules, and construction-related records
  • Help coordinate communication between project managers, field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  • Track project information and assist with maintaining accurate documentation throughout construction
  • Support scheduling and coordination of project-related meetings and activities
  • Assist construction management with reports, correspondence, and other project administration
  • Help identify outstanding administrative items and follow up with the appropriate parties
  • Maintain organized project files from initial planning through project completion

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous administrative, office support, or coordination experience
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Professional and customer-focused communication style
  • Comfortable working with customers, vendors, subcontractors, field personnel, and company leadership
  • Proficiency with standard office technology, email, spreadsheets, and document-management tools
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating across multiple departments
  • Dependable, proactive, and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience within construction, homebuilding, real estate development, property development, or a related industry
  • Experience supporting construction sales or customer-facing operations
  • Experience assisting construction managers, project managers, or field operations teams
  • Familiarity with construction terminology, documentation, and project processes
  • Experience coordinating information between sales, customers, and construction teams
  • Background in a fast-paced, project-driven office environment

Compensation

  • $65,000+ per year, based on experience and qualifications
  • Full-Time, Long-Term Career Opportunity
